Haslam to Announce West Tennessee Veterans Cemetery Governor Bill Haslam will be at the Parkers Crossroads site to officially announce it as the future Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads, located at 693 Wildersville Road. A ground-breaking ceremony is at 9:00 a.m. The fund-raising committee encourages everyone to come show the governor how proud they are of this decision. We will be raising funds to enclose the chapel along with other things not covered under the Federal funding. Funds are still needed to make additional improvements. The state now owns the land and will soon start developing the cemetery, where veterans can be buried without cost. The land is beside Jones Cemetery and close to Parkers Crossroads Post Office. There is an 18-wheeler trailer on the site telling that it is the future site. Coming from east on I-40, turn right at exit 108 onto Highway 22 and turn right at first road (Wildersville Road), It will be on the left about a mile. If coming from the west, turn left and first road on the right turn. If going south from North on Highway 22 turn left on Wildersville Road before I 40.
