Hat tip to Waylon Scott Neese for these words: While our thoughts and prayers are certainly with those families who lost loved ones 13 years ago today, the true reason for patriot day is this: It allows the powers that be an opportunity to reopen the wounds and substantiate the hatred, prejudice and fear needed to perpetuate an endless war of which they profit immensely from. A true patriot learns from the past and implements the changes needed in order to avoid such tragedies and build a lasting peace for his nation and the world. A tyrant utilizes such events in order to perpetuate fear that is used to justify violence and maintain enemies that require an expensive war machine that a select few reap huge rewards from. Remember the events of 9/11/01 and promote peace so that we will never repeat this horrific day.
