Hate, Anger, Pain, Loneliness Feelings in life we all despise But somewhere along the way we get used too We forget the innocence we all once had And hope vanishes with the final doe filled glimpse in our eyes Just as the last ounce of childhood light extinguishes from our soul, As if it was merely a match burning in a raging hurricane For in this storm it is smothered in an instant Oh how I long for the return of this long lost innocence, When the world was filled with such wonderous events to behold, Events that shook you to the very core of your being and left you speechless. I will no longer suffer these shackles made from the feeling that replaced This long forgotten innocence. I will not close my eyes and grind my teeth to bare this suffering. I cannot close my heart to these feelings any longer. I will confront them and set my soul free. Then I will regain hope. Unknown.
