Hate to dwell on this, but I hate it when referees ruin the end of games… To essentially end a Sweet 16 game on a foul that has been called very inconsistently all tournament AND recognizing that was a minor version of the foul it is simply head scratching. Should be done better. EDITED: My friend, Steve, rightly pointed out that the bad call probably had no effect on the outcome since the ball was cleanly stripped and was about to be Michigans anyway. That makes me feel better knowing that despite a great effort by the refs they probably didnt change the outcome.
