Hate to say but I really cant stand this young lady. What is happening Ferguson is nowhere near what is trying to be illustrated in the Hunger Games series. The Hunger Games is set in a totalitarian superstate where the government requires each of the districts to sacrifice two children to participate in an arena bloodbath where the winner supposedly wins a better life for themselves and their family (which in the second film/book is obviously not true). The Ferguson riots did not accomplish anything more than the destruction of their neighborhood and funny enough, during one of the coldest times of the year in that part of the US. No, I retract that, its not funny at all. The point of the Hunger Games was to warn the general viewer or reader the danger of slipping into a dictatorship and when they did fight back, it was against the aggressors, not each other. Ferguson rioters destroyed their community which not only strengthened the police state by justifying it but also strengthened whatever negative stereotype many people hold on black individuals. What we have going on is not a racial issue but a human issue and in my line of work I see people of all race and creed who feel oppressed and have exactly the same problems.
