Hate to use Facebook as a political forum, but Roger Goddell should be fired over this Ray Rice incident, and so should others in the Ravens organization. They are reacting to the reaction from the public, and not the incident. Ray Rice should have been punished instantly no matter the circumstance. As they get backlash they are trying to fix the problem but its to late. It shows they arent concerned with the action of domestic violence only the Public Relations nightmare it has caused and it makes me sick! They now have a zero tolerance policy against domestic abuse so say ... but Ray Mcdonald was arrested last week and was allowed to play Sunday in the 49 er game.... just sad,( after the policy was announced) Yet guys who smoke weed, which is legal in some states, are ban for a year. When the incident first happened , they put on a press conference with Ray and his wife, were they made or allowed her to sit next to him apologizing for her role in the incident. This is blatant negligence and shows they dont understand the nature of domestic abuse. Somehow giving Ray Rice an excuse for what he did.... we needed a video ( which we all knew what happened) for the NFL to actually see a grown man punch a women in the face before they reacted properly. Had Goddell already seen this tape?? And if he had not, why didnt he??? They were at a casino , everyone knows there are cameras every where.....Because the NFL didnt want it to get out, they wanted to sweep it under the rug- and that wouldnt be good for the NFL. Roger Goddell has been horrible for the NFL yet has benefited from the wildly growing popularity of the sport - as if he is the reason. Im glad the video came out , because it put a face on that fist. I am sorry it had to be this way ... but Domestic violence may finally get the attention it deserves now. IT IS NEVER OK, and the NFL of all businesses should be on the fore front of this push from now on!! You are an NFL Player.. no female is ever going to threaten you to the point where you need to hit her in an elevator and spit on her repeatedly...Ray Rice got what he deserved finally... now its time for some other heads to roll!! Goddell has been on my list since the BountyGate scam .... its time to pay up !!!
