Hatred is not something we will ever eliminate from the human - TopicsExpress

Hatred is not something we will ever eliminate from the human experience. Hatred toward life however, is one aspect we not only ought to do, it is one area we could succeed. The hatred of life, hatred toward living things, is the beginning of everything that goes wrong with us in the world. From hatred of one another to the hatred of systems that support life, and this includes the inconveniences they represent. Hatred of these living things is actually a form of hating ones own self. If you consider that what you are hating points to a weakness within, a flaw pointed out, then we become softer, find compassion, not only for that which we thought we hate, but also for ourselves. How can it be a flaw in ones self? That is a complicated one to answer for anyone. However, w e do know that everything we encounter is a mirror reflection of what is also in us. The job is to find that flaw, at least to recognize it. Not to necessarily fix it, sometimes that isnt possible. It is recogniztion that brings healing to the situation, entering compassion, and finding love.
