Have I mentioned lately how much I hate Grant Morrison. He tends to screw up anything he touches. He starts with grand ideas then falters about half way through because he loses pace. he has been like that from the very start. yes I have read many books he has done over the years mainly because somehow he ended up on titles I enjoyed. I really wish he would just quit making comics and go to some other medium. Yes I agree the crisis thing is over-done. But it is what tests our heroes and proves why they are needed. On another note I really could care less what Burton believes about Super-hero films. The man does well with the propertys he creates but he is not really a comic guy. I am still spiteful for him killing the Joker so many years ago. I do like the Burton Batman films but dude you killed the one character that brought fun to your films then you complain there are not enough fun heroes/villains out there. You may need to rethink what you have done in the past ya hypocrite.Marvel has done a great job of keeping the fun in Super-hero flicks. they know we go to movies to be entertained. Not to be tortured ( ahem Man of Steel ) It really is fun to go to a film and know chances are we will laugh and applaud our heroes or Villains ( Loki ) The formula works and It has far outlasted expectations. If Burton wants to prove them wrong create your own hero and show them how to do it right. Until then you really dont matter that much. Go back to making Beetlejuice 2 and keep Johnny Depp and Helena Bonham Carter out of it lol
