Have I missed something in the media saturation of the election over the last couple of days? We were due to have a referendum giving more power to local government on September 14. This was the earliest date this referendum could be held. Now we are having an election on September 7th, does that mean we have to vote AGAIN the next week, or soon after? Or have we just forgotten we were having a referendum? What a waste of money if the referendum and election are not held on the same day, surely that money could have been put to better use...
