Have a HeART for the Philippines. Come to the affordable art Silent Auction on Sunday 8th December at 2pm. Your chance to own a piece of original art at a fraction of the normal price and help the victims of the devastation in the Philippines. 50 or so local artists (most of whom exhibited at the recent ARTsenal affordable art fair) have donated an original oil painting or sculpture to be sold at a silent auction* to be held at the Chaufferie in the Arsenal complex, 6 Rue des Peres Blancs on Sunday December 8th. · Doors open at 2.30pm. Have a glass of wine and chat to the artists · One-hour Auction starts at 4pm and ends at 5pm sharp *In a silent auction, would-be purchasers stick a Post-It note with their name and bid next to the artwork(s) they’d like to buy. If someone else likes it they can bid more by replacing the Post-it with their own, until bidding ends at 5pm sharp. At this point the successful bidders take away their prized piece(s). All purchases must be settled with cash please. Admission 5 euros. Every single cent will to the Red Cross Philippines relief fund.
