Have a deadline for a presentation I need to finish before Monday. Not easy with the hordes descending tomorrow for Thanksgiving to be followed immediately by attending and speaking at Loscon, the science fiction convention mentioned previously. But Ill make it. Im not worried about that; the presentation is well on its way. Its complicated by needing to straighten up the house before folks show up tomorrow. Which led me to the errand Im just back from. Both Genny and I have been on diets -- with significant success, Im happy to say. Ive just returned from the local charity thrift store where I dropped off two shopping bags full of books and four trash bags (plus another shopping bag) full of pants and shirts that no longer fit.
