Have a great day!! :)) Good morning brothers and sisters. Galatians 3:5 Does God give you His Spirit and work miracles among you because you observe the law, or because you believe what you heard? Its not about a checklist of things to do, and then God decides to follow through. Its about us believing who He is, what Hes done, doing and will do, and allowing His Spirit to make a home in us. Lord, make a home in us. Help us to understand, though, that You may need to clear out some rooms in order to renovate. Search our hearts and reveal the lies that we are listening to. May we break free from the trinkets of this world that we keep storing up instead of allowing You in that space of our heart: to heal, grow, strengthen and revive. Lord, have Your way in us today. You spoke and creation came to be. Speak into us and create a new desire for the beautiful things of Your Kingdom: love, joy, peace, patience and grace - because, Lord, we want to be more like Your Son. May what we pursue not be a checklist of tasks that makes us worthy of Your Spirit, but may we pursue righteousness, godliness, faith, love, perseverance and gentleness which gives us a passion for more of You. Lord, work in us and through us. Use us today, not because we went to church yesterday and checked a box, but because we believe in who You are and we trust that You have beautiful plans for us, plans to prosper and not to harm us, to give us hope and a future. Lord, thank You for this day. Have this day in our lives and may Your will be done in us. We love You. In Jesus precious name, amen. Its not because of anything weve done, its because we realize whats been done for us and we choose this day that we will cling to the hope we have in Him. May we remember who is with us. May we remember that whatever we face, we do not face alone. The peace we need is in His hands. May we grab a hold of it and live this day with joy because we choose to trust Him with it.
