Have a little unsolicited advice to newbie farmers .Even though you are doing or aiming to do no chemical farming, still get in touch with any good farmer in your area. These folks can help in things which dont change either organic or chemical...say how deep one sows a particular kind of seed. You can observe what orchard trees are doing well. Go around in your areas to see what grows well. Local mechanics. Tools men etc...they can provide that help. Soil. Microclimate etc around you will vary from your closest organic farmer friend. Make some in roads with local community .
