Have any of you ever awoke to an attack of vertigo? If not, I hope you never undergo that experience. Your skin is cold and clammy, your eyes do circles in your head. The contents of your stomach feel like they would be better on the outside. It is somewhat like an awful case of motion sickness except the only motion causing it is in your head. Over the years, I have had the privilege of undergoing this phenomenon ( my science students can tell you what this means) and this morning until just a little while ago I had the pleasure of experiencing it again. Why did I use the word “pleasure” you ask. Because when it is over, the world is a much better place to be and I really am glad to still be in it. Hope your day will turn out to be a great day without having to undergo my early pleasure.
