Have any of you ever been stuck in an elevator? Well me neither until today. When Margaret and I were leaving Parkland hospital this morning we got on the first floor elevator to go to ground level to go to the parking garage. We got inside the doors shut I pushed the G button it didnt light up. And the elevator didnt move so I pushed it again, still nothing. So Margaret pushed another button and another one just to see if the elevator would move to any floor. None of the buttons would light up. The door wouldnt open and the elevator wouldnt move. She pushed the help button and a police officer on the other end said, may I help you? We said we are stuck in the elevator. So about 5 minutes later 2 police officers arrive beating on the doors wanting to know if we were alright. After another 5 minutes we were freed. I told them I didnt know people got stuck on elevators in real life, I thought that only happen on TV. But I guessed I would have a funny story to tell my grandkids. Margarets Dr.s appointment went well today, good thing we got stuck on the elevator after the appointment instead of before. She will have a colon scope and go back with the reports on Nov. 20th. If everything looks good they will reconnect the colon. And I know in Jesus name all will be well. And this night mare that started 12/1/13 will be over. Thank you Jesus! Thank you for all your prayers. And please stand in agreement with us that the colon and intestines are well. My love to all!
