Have any of you seen the new movie Begin Again? I was intrigued, given the cast (Keira Knightley, Mark Ruffalo, Adam Levine), then I heard the soundtrack. Usually the soundtrack for a musical dictates (if the trailer hasnt already) whether or not I see a movie. When I saw that Levine and Knightley were the featured artists, I got excited. I wondered how Keira Knighley would sound. But, after listening to the samples on iTunes, I must say, Knightley seems completely miscast - shes a more boring singer than Zooey Deschanel and Im not buying her as a singer/songwriter. Why do singer/songwriters always have to be monotone and bland in movies? Is there no vocal variety - can these people NOT sing? Could some random unknown from the streets of New York not have done it better? And Adam Levine seems to only have one volume in everything from the album - and its annoyingly just there. Unless one of you tells me otherwise, I think Ill pass on the movie. #BeginAgain #AdamLevine #KeiraKnightley #MarkRuffalo
