Have been following the debate here from both initiators and commentators and am appalled by the level ignorance exhibited. For us who boast of decades of existence know very well that the issue of kibwezi- kitui road is not new. Blaming current leadership is hypocritical in that the past leadership failed to push for upgrading the same to its standard. I cannot vouch for the agenda of the current leadership national and county, but it remains that it may take long before we see any tangible action taken. As one commentator has put it, it starts with you and me. How? The moment we stop voting along tribal, community, clan, family and class lines and vote leaders who are people servants oriented we will stand with our heads high and be counted. Am not a political genius but there is much to be done to achieve the desired development. We can grumble but for sure we have to share the blame. We need visionary and selfless leadership vertically. The country appear to have lost focus. I say so because the level of mediocrity from top leadership down to the grassroot is laughable. Have used the word Leadership severally, not by default but deliberately. Commentators you are welcome.
