Have been noticing the excessive use of word rape on my news feed to define the defeats and victories in sports. Just want to suggest every one of you to please not make the usage of this word so common. The word means something that is an intensely traumatic experience and its a sick truth that happens in every society and it is universally abhorred. Its WRONG to use this word in the context of heavy defeats and wins. In todays highly social and influenceable world, you never know what wrong you are encouraging until it becomes a norm. I request you to not make this wrong, this word, a norm. Fortunately, and unfortunately, the power lies with us. Use it well.
