Have been reading some religious posts in Algerian groups that are quite reconciliatory (saying respect all religions etc). Following my posts re swayseekerfilms.blogspot/ and texts implying people of all religions can be saved some Muslims asked to be friends and I have been included in many Algerian groups. I was surprised at how accomodating of other religions Muslims can be. It would be interesting to see what the culture is at universities and so on there. One of the foremost universities is described at en.wikipedia.org/wiki/University_of_Sciences_and_Technology_Houari_Boumediene , named after Chairman of the Revolutionary Council of Algeria. It seems social contact rather than aggression could go a long way to reducing religious conflict
