Have been really let down by some people in my life, recently. When one has children, the aspect of untouchability by others and their power to impact you negatively, goes away. Our children are autonomous...they have opinions and thoughts that do not mirror our own. When people that have been invited into your inner circle then act in unhelpful, uninformed and possibly spiteful ways based on assumption - working against the space you hold for your child, it does hurt. It does impact.
