Have been wary of adding pictures to the group as there is a huge amount of talent here. Here is one one made a while ago. Its made from an old railway sleeper. You can see how the preservative has seeped into the wood over the years and now gives it such a lovely set of markings. Not easy to work with and it stinks to high heaven. There is a notch on the rim right at the front where one of the steel pins went into the sleeper to hold the rails in place.
