Have done this before but didnt really get any replys Please dont respond if you know this horse because I know you all think hes priceless haha! How much would you pay....? Chester is an 8yo TB Gelding hes about 16hh, very chunky well built boy! He was quite a successful race horse, he was retired due to a tendon injury which is now 100% healed (vet check to prove) and does not effect him at all. Chester is possibly the perfect beginners horse, I had about 20 rides experience when I bought Chester from a retraining program called CROP. He is so quiet and easy going he is suitable for any rider, has had people who have never ridden before ride him in wide open spaces and even go for their first trot and canter on him and he never takes advantage of a young or green rider. Been to a handful of outings and is very relaxed and confident when out. Easy to catch, shoe (barefoot) and is a very good doer, also is a mild scrambler but is good on the drivers side. Shows good potential over jumps but as you can tell from photos Im a very nervous jumper so he hasnt jumped much, and although he is green, he is very careful and always takes care of his rider. I would still classify Chester as green, but his level of maturity for such a young horse makes him come across as quite educated, he knows basic dressage, travels in a rounded frame just not 100% consistent yet, leg yields and has extremely good breaks, but needs more flatwork training to be more competitive! He is currently out enjoying his well earned semi retirement just being ridden lightly every month or so by his leasee and never puts a foot wrong :) Basically the perfect beginners horse would excel in a riding school or RDA! Will most likely never be for sale as he is a one in million and I cant wait to teach mine and friends kids to ride on him :)
