Have driven 800kms in 12 hours of which 200kms were over very rough, stoney, bulldust covered roads. Started 4am this morning; arrived safely at Yarralin 9.30am to see the Magistrates Court sit for several hours (always a great previlege to see the legal system in action) and then drive back to Katherine. Did a tyre near Jasper Creek 52 kms from the Victoria Highway -the flint like stones tore the side wall open. Both got absolutely filthy changing the tyre. A bit tired after the hard driving .... now heading back to Darwin.
