Have engineering ideas that can revolutionize health care? Anyone interested in developing low cost, easily accessible technology should join Engineering World Health at UIC (EWH). EWH is an organization that aims to mobilize the biomedical engineering community by improving the quality of health care in hospitals of underserved communities of the developing world. Student proposed projects are researched and developed by like-minded members of this group. UIC projects have gone on to competitions and won! The Variable Resistance Rehabilitative Knee Brace is currently in the process of production.
