Have had another awesome extended weekend working with Tilly. Started with a really fantastic liberty session on Saturday - boy was my girl strutting her stuff with extension & power I hadnt seen before and she wanted to play and express herself which was perfect - we finished with an short inhand session with shoulder in and close in work. Then yesterday we worked out in the big paddock with lunging/in-hand and then a ride and then today had an great session in Jo & Ivans awesome arena with some really fantastic canter work - I cannot believe how different Tilly is to ride - so much more balanced and relaxed yet with more power - bought a very tired horse home. Also bought a very tired me home too lol - havent cantered like that for a long long time - amazing how much difference my Equiyoga New Zealand program is making - both in fitness and position in the saddle - riding is getting easier. It wasnt all perfect but crikey we really are on an awesome path and definitely heading in the right direction.
