Have had several requests for the recipe for the pumpkin/peanut - TopicsExpress

Have had several requests for the recipe for the pumpkin/peanut butter dog treats, so here goes: half a cup of natural peanut butter, no sugar added. 1 cup of pure pumpkin puree, canned. half a tsp of cinnamon 1.75 cups Oat Flour (I used Whole Wheat, because I couldnt find it). Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. and line cookie sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, stir together the peanut butter, pumpkin and cinnamon. Stir in the flour a little at a time, and when it is all added you should be able to knead the dough without it sticking. If its sticky, just add more flour. Roll the dough out between two sheets of parchment paper until about 1/4 thick. Use the cookie cutter of your choice. Then place on the prepared pan about an inch apart. Bake about 8 minutes. Slide the parchment paper off the pan and onto the counter and let cool completely. NOTE: I doubled the recipe, which made rolling the dough a rather lengthy process, because I had to keep re-rolling it as the dough diminished in size. I also baked it for about 15 minutes. Let it cool all day or overnight. The dogs liked it warm, though. When done, store the treats in a sealable jar or container in the fridge. Good luck! And may your pups enjoy them as much as mine do. :)
