Have just arrived in Ulan Ude, deep in Siberia, having spent the last week or so in the Baltics, including Helsinki in Finland. We had nice Rathayatras in Tallinn (in the rain), Palanga and Helsinki (the latter was in even more rain). Palanga was excellent, with maybe 150 devotees and lots of holiday makers. It was wonderful. In Helsinki they have recently acquired a beautiful new temple in a wonderful location. But now Im in Ulan Ude. Ill try to find a map which shows where it is. But it is a long way from almost anywhere.
