Have many fond memories of my brother Ora .... one fond memory is we went exploring the wilderness (as we called it) as children, he was always ready to go with me (my little brother, he was 3 years younger) where-ever I wanted to go. We went down to the marsh, across the fence to the neighbors woods, any of the fields in our 40 acre farm, looking for nice stones and gathering the best ones. Checking all the plants, we found some neat wild flowers and some pennyroyal tea on the muck patch and thought we found a new tea, but Mom said, Yes I knew there was some down there. Whenever we played church he wanted to be the preacher, he used to do quite the sermons. We played ball, jumped off the cement wall out around the windmill etc. our sisters did not always want to, but he did. I could go on and on, but this is some of our childhood days, Ill always cherish. When my first husband had an accident and passed away, Ora & Miriam moved their mobile home on to our land, so he could be close to help me out. One morning I got my zipper stuck and could not get it up or down or take my dress off so I ran to his front door and he helped me. could go on and on again, but I think I need to stop for now. Memories .....
