Have seen many Guys using excessive phrases of Salafis for themselves. We Salafis do this, we Salafis do that, we Salafis, we Salafis. we Salafis, Man, so much praise for oneself? Seriously! Salaffiyah is not just a label. Its a methodology of following the Deen that you need to constantly stick to, till your last breathe. We have seen how many good upright Salafi later on deviated from Salaffiyah. No one is save from the Fitna, dont boost yourself as if you look down upon others. When we making public statements like we salafis do this we salafis do that and that too more often then we need to introspect ourselves do we really deserve to attribute ourselves to the Sahaabs & the Salaf? Where do we stand in terms of Ibaadah, Taqwa, Eeman and Akhlaaq? Yess, Salaffiyah is Haq without a doubt and we will insha Allaah stick to it till the last breathe but why so much show off man? Why we portray ourselves as if we are the only ones upon Salaffiyah and the rest are doomed? Let me share something on this; It has been said: The damage (caused) to every servant lies in his being pleased with himself. Whoever looks at his soul and sees something in it which he deems to be good has caused its destruction. And whoever does not suspect his soul at every single moment is one who is deceived.
