Have taken the past week to do a ton of reading/tutorials/studying before new job begins, but gave myself the day off yesterday for a solo adventure. Headed up to Bolinas coast - Palomarin Trailhead - for a nine-mile circuit along the Coast Trail to Alomere Falls, where mountain creeks find their way down the steep cliffs to meet the sea. Had the beach all to myself. No devices, no reading. Just me and the sea and some lunch. Yet another amazing trail in our own backyard Ive somehow managed to miss discovering for a decade. Gorgeous day, start to finish.
