Have the courage to keep learning The biggest killer in history is a lack of intelligence, though the cure has always been there inside each and every one of us, its becoming painfully obvious that some people have not discovered that medicine or just wont take it. I had someone say to me the other day that Smart is not a requirement when it calls for courage. I must say that statement irritated the hell out of me in that it shines a big light on a very big problem especially in the black community. Courage and smarts are two different traits, very powerful when connected, but courage without smarts will often leave people misguided and in the quicksand of the foolish realm. Learning is a lifelong undertaking and in order to change your position, you must first change your mentality. The problem never lies in opening ones mind up, it lies in keeping ones mind closed down. I would say; have the courage to keep an open mind and allow your intelligence will have an opportunity to take over from there. ©2013 Thomas L. White III (D-Soul-1)
