Have to say my husbands retirement is getting to be a good thing. Came in late from work and he had cooked green beans in the crock pot, boiled little potatoes with butter, and grilled a New York strip. But what was so interesting was when I walked in the house I smelled turnip greens. Since I had not the time to pick them, he did, washed and cooked them. They were very good. Now this is a man that does not even eat turnip greens.
