Have to say that my experience of the NHS was very good yesterday. Everyone was very friendly & professional. I had a chest x-ray, blood tests & saw the Consultant within 2 hours. I also used the free bus from Cabot Circus to the BRI- its for us invalids! Stage one of my asthma management program has begun-eliminate possible causes ie- reflux from my stomach that may be splashing into my lungs & weakening them!!! OMG!! Also being tested for allergies. So back I go in 2 months. He did say its a slow process. Actually I still feel my fitness is my enemy because as usual I passed all the inhalation/exhalation tests with flying colours!! People need to see me poorly to believe how crippled I become! xx
