Have to say the programme just shown on Channel 4 WW1S forgotten heroes was an incredible insight into how the severely wounded in that war were treated, not least because it featured an interview with Daves brother Paul re their grandfather who received the first prosthetic arms, but also the young presenter Arthur Williams, himself severely disabled, ironically not wounded in his tour of duty in Afghanistan, but in a car accident, was brilliant. My own grandfather lost a leg in that war also---thought provoking and very poignant!
