Have to say this, editing an e-zine is an altogether different beast as compared to a print magazine, and yet similar. Both have schedules finalized weeks in advance...two weeks for MuslimMoms.ca and six weeks for monthlies I edited way back then...then there are contributors..., in print when you publish them, you are doing them a favour, they get a by-line and much gravitas in their circle...once a typo gets in a print copy, you cry over it for the rest of your life...if you spy one in your e-zine article, you can go back and edit it right away or face the wrath of the writer. Never mind how you may have poured over every word to ensure it was edited into publishing shape, an extra dot and you get called for your skills...lastly, print, electronic, digital...the editor is always the bad guy/gal...i should know...i do!
