Have to say this: getting a divorce sucks but my ex husband and I are friends and we are raising an incredible little girl!! Some people may always judge us but you know what? He has a girlfriend he loves who makes him happy and Barcelona is a super happy and loved little wonder child. Because of a divorce almost 4 1/2 years ago, I found my passion; my purpose - AND - I found the courage to live it. I owe him the world for that and now in my life, I finally have happy and balance and at this point met someone I was ready for and that is a gift. The point? Dont be so judgmental. I was one of the few to have a nice divorce, and do you know why? Because the one thing that has always mattered to Mark and I is that we loved each other enough to love our daughter more and HER happiness was what mattered. Thankfully we co-parent happily and our little love, well, to us - there isnt a cooler, kinder, funnier, smarter, loving, sweet more beautiful soul than our Little Lona. The only person anyone should judge is yourself. Be the kind of person youd be proud to know. And face your own truths. Life is uncertain and divorce, as I said, sucks. But sometimes life gives you 2nd chances and this time around you get to do it all better and take chances you always wanted to take. Look, Dreams happen when you stop trying to dictate when and how theyll come through. Just be open and focus on more important things like living in the present.
