Have to share my excitement. I now have 4 new prime lenses for free to use on my D7000. I have had the lenses since 1975 but I have enough information now to know I can safely use them on my 2011 camera. Way to go Nikon-great foresight! Can use them in A and M modes, focus dot and exposure info is available in viewfinder. Do have to manually focus. But I have gained four Nikkors: 24mm, f2.8, 85mm, f1.8, 135mm, 2.8, 500mm reflex fixed f8. So adjusting roughly for DX, the 135 is about a 2.8. 202mm. (What does that cost new?)
