Have to share the front side my my Christmas card. The only photo I have with all 5 kids in it. Tippy, on the left was a Lab I found this past March, laying in a ditch, unable to move. I had seen here several times that day running in the same general area along the 2-lane highway. I tried to capture her but she would always run the other way. I decided to make one last attempt (which was about 6 hours after the first time I saw her) and that is when I spotted her laying in the low ditch on the side of the road in a pool of murky water. With the help of some passerbys and a neighbor we were able to lift her into my car. I took her straight to the vet. She didnt seem to be hurt, just exhausted and sore. She didnt have a microchip, and the local shelter was full. I decided to unofficially foster her because I didnt know what else to do. We were in a small town in central Missouri near an Army post. I put signs up around the area where I found her, posted on several local Facebook groups as well as Bookoo and no one claimed her. We ended up moving 2.5 months later to VA and she came with us. She has brought back so much life to our older girl, Hally, who is 12. My kids (9, 7, & 4) love her to pieces. She is so well behaved and rather lazy for a approx. 3 year old Labby.
