Have we all learned the lesson? Heres a quick recap: 1. Dont take a picture of you or someone else looking or acting like a clown. In the digital world we live in, once you post it, you no longer own it. Its free for all to use or exploit. 2. If you see your friend that has a picture like that posted on their Facebook, instagram, etc, tell them to take it down ASAP. 3. Dont be so quick to hang someone (I. E. Calling someone a disgrace), we all make mistakes and we all learn. Some more painfully then others. Notice I never called the cadet in question a disgrace, I just stated the photo was publicly posted where all can see. Bottom line: Wearing the uniform is a PRIVILEGE, not a right. Men and women have died wearing it. Despite your nametape saying USNSCC, you also represent the United States Navy. Policing yourself and your fellow cadets is paramount in ensuring you do not lose this privilege. ~C. J.
