Have you been angry with someone lately? Disappointed and hurt to the point that you just cant seem to get past it? Maybe you want to lash out at that person, get even, teach them a lesson they will never forget? How am I to respond to someone who is my enemy? Jesus gives us some very specific instructions on how we are to respond to people who hurt us, who do not have our best interest at heart. The teaching is simple, but the execution of the teaching is not so simple. in fact, Jesus commands on how we are to treat our enemies is one of the hardest to accept, because it goes against everything we are in the flesh...in the natural man...as a human being. So how do we do it? Join us his morning as we take an honest look at Luke 6:27-31 form the great Sermon on the Mount. It is my prayer that we all can let the light of Gods love and truth shine into our hearts and minds, and leave with a renewed determination to love everyone, no matter what.
