Nick has: I first experienced Home Start in the 1980s when a friend’s mum was a helper and took us out with the other families to the seaside...Quite some time later, when I had been through school, college and university and started work, I got involved with Rotaract...We regularly supported our local Home Start group, raising money and wrapping presents and helping out at the Christmas party which Rotary organised every year...Time went on and I had a successful career and got married which meant I had to give up Rotary and helping Home Start. And then things took a rather dark twist for me.
