Have you considered transferring to University of La Verne? ULV is still open for fall 2014 enrollment and is partnering with Chaffey College on Wednesday, June 25, evaluating applications for “on-the-spot” admission decisions! Most students will have an admission decision within minutes and admissible students will walk away with an unofficial financial aid package and a general timeline for obtaining a bachelor’s degree at La Verne. Application fees and recommendation letters will be waived. To be guaranteed a meeting with a University of La Verne admission counselor, you must sign up for an appointment by calling the Chaffey College Transfer Center at 909.652.6233. Walk-in appointments are only available as time permits. Students interested in the traditional program (typically younger than 25 year-old) should plan to: - Bring ALL college transcripts (unofficial or official) from any other college they have attended other than Chaffey to your appointment - Bring your FAFSA student aid report (SAR) to dictate an unofficial financial aid package to your appointment - Upon acceptance, complete an application for admission - Be aware of general admission requirements: 28+ college-level semester units complete, minimum of a 2.7 GPA and complete ENGL 1A For a list of the University of La Verne degree programs, visit laverne.edu/catalog. Traditional undergraduate students are eligible for a merit-based scholarships up to $12,000 annually and a need-based scholarship based on FAFSA, in addition to any federal and state aid.
