Have you ever asked yourself the question why does it seem as though the righteous struggle while the wicked prosper in this world? Doesnt that seem backwards? If you are a believer in Christ you have no reason to worry or be envious towards those who may be looked upon as being successful in this world, though they hate and reject God, simply because your treasure is in Heaven, Jesus Christ, the incorruptible gift. The reason its such a struggle for a believer is because their affections are not centered around earthly things but rather around the heavenly things and their faith is placed in God, not possessions. Plus a believer understands that it is God who holds their lives together and that He is the true possessor of our resources. The wicked are successful in the world because they are handed over to the glamour and glitz that the world offers but heres the thing, everything here on earth is temporal and will surely fade away and those who are attached to earthy goods will be consumed right along with them because they chose materialism to be lord over their lives instead on the One True Living God (Jesus Christ).
