Have you ever awoken to realize you are living your dreams? Today is just that day for me. This morning, the day after the Delaware Contemporary Dance Theatres home concert, still has me on cloud 9. The dancers hit every mark, cue, position and executed a simply brilliant performance. Dancers, ( Janee Daria, Kristie Laychock, Ola Bisi, Briana Raheem, ShaMar DeShontee, Nechelle Trawick , Chania Garner and Briyana Sizer ), thank you for your dedication and hard work. You all are a hard working group of dancers. What a fun, FUNNY, and loving company we have! I am very proud of you. To our guest choreographers: Anthony Burrell, your piece received a rousing applause. Thank you for finding time in your very busy schedule to work with us. Christopher L. Huggins all I can say is wow! Your piece closed the show, received a standing ovation, audience chanted encore, music kicked back up just for the dancers to execute the ENTIRE piece again. The audience loved it! Thank you for always being a wonderful support. You know I love you. To Rashan K. Jackson, how did you just come in a become our lucky charm?! (Smile) Thank you for a beautiful piece. Your heart, desire and dedication to these dancers is so special. We ALL love you! Now to thank the production staff/crew: Brandon Furrowh thank you for doing everything from moving furniture to standing the entire concert. You are greatly appreciated. To Ninja Barnes you are always right there for me and the dancers. We know its gonna be a great concert when Momma Ninja walks through those doors. Stephanie Hayman-Lambert thank you always knowing whats needed, stepping in and baking it happen. By the way, you looked fabulous last night! To Ebony Latney thank you for being on that door last night. It is comforting to know that the front of house is in good hands. To Pamela Hobson for putting your foot in that show last night. Lighting design was brilliant! Finally to my beautiful daughter Giovanna Andrews your were outstanding as stage manager. Thank you for always supporting my dreams. I love YOU. Everyone that attended and shared in this evening of dance, thank you for your support and being an exceptional audience.
