Have you ever been in this situation where the people that you love anger you the most easily? Think about how Gods love is, even though we have sinned against Him, Hes so patient with us, and He isnt easily angered. Instead of being so easily angered with us, He sent His Son to die for us because God loves us so much, He made a sacrifice, He gave His only Son to the world. I know we can all quote John 3:16, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Love is sacrificing, and when you love someone, you put their needs before yours... even if theyve hurt you or angered you, be patient with them because love is patient. It is so very easy to become frustrated and angry with those we love, but what does having a true Biblical love mean during frustrating times? Sometimes in life, we forget what the important things mean to us. We forget that God gave us blessings such as a house, church, safety, and family and friends; especially those who are the closest to us. We often forget their value and sometimes take them for granted. Many times we dont see the good that theyve done for us because we are too busy focusing on negative things. But God said in Philippians 4:8, Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are TRUE, whatsoever things are HONEST, whatsoever things are JUST, whatsoever things are PURE, whatsoever things are LOVELY, whatsoever things are of GOOD REPORT; if there be any VIRTUE, and if there be any PRAISE, THINK ON THESE THINGS. In relationships, arguments are typical but if you truly love someone, you are not easily angered with them, you are patient with them. I challenge you to look at your relationships with others and examine your love for them. Ask yourself if you love them Bibically and unconditionally, or if you love them when you feel like it, depending on circumstances and how they treat you. Always remember this, God loved us even when we were sinners. We find this in Romans 5:8, But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. I ve found in my life, that life is too short to be angry and bitter towards one another. Remember, Love is the Excellent way!! Be Blessed!!
