Have you ever been to Charlotte Pride and seen those folks scrambling about with staff or volunteer T-shirts? ALL of them, yes, ALL of them, are volunteers - people just like you! They work as busy as bees keeping all the festivals and parades moving parts, well, moving. The operations committee is primarily responsible for all those moving parts and they are looking for help! A volunteer meeting is Thursday. You should totes RSVP and go, even if its just to learn more. Theres no commitment in just showing up and learning more, and, you never know - you might get the worker bee buzz and decide to join them!
