Have you ever decided to throw your child a birthday party and you planned a big celebration...and you spent A LOT of money...and you worked really hard to make sure every detail was PERFECT ... and you send out the invitations to everyone you know....and the day of the party you anxiously await all of the people pulling in...and looking at the excitement on your childs face...but as the time gets closer...there is only three people that has shown, but you sent out fifty invitations!!!! ....let me share my heart with you.... Im sure you have heard in the last several weeks that Jesus is coming soon...and when I hear that I am so very sad...I see others rejoicing, but I cant...because I know if He should decide to come back at this minute that I still have friends and family that havent accepted Him into their lives...and just like we send out invitations for a celebration...the Good Book says that He also has sent out invitations...those knots in the pit of your stomach..or the urgency you have to go to church, but your heart feels like it may explode...those are Christs invitations to you...BUT Just like a family member and friends have the choice to come to your childs party ...you too have a choice...to come to give your life to God...the invitation is there...and although I know the world is getting very bad...I know its because that God loves His people so much that hes waiting....hes waiting on you because He loves you...but He wont wait forever.... So today I am thankful for my merciful loving Savior...who chooses to wait a little longer...because although I may have to stay in this world that is not always kind..today in prayer I was reminded...that for now I get to experience the good with the bad...I get to experience the joyous times as well as the hard times...BUT when Jesus returns its FINAL...I will be happy forever...but others that chose to refuse the invitation..will be in eternal pain...please share if you know of someone else who needs this...I love and am praying for all of you...and I pray that you accept the invitation because your Heavenly Father is patiently waiting for you to show up.
