Have you ever experienced disappointment? Disappointed in the circumstances you find yourself in, disappointed in the people you counted on, DIS-AP-POINT-ED! And surprise, surprise, it can happen in the church...it can happen in the family of God. One might say, That should not be so!. And while that is true, the fact of the matter is, ALL of us make mistakes. ALL of us have been disappointed at some time or another by someone in the church, and ALL of us have disappointed others in the church. The Bible says ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God- no one is exempt. But in the midst of disappointment, we can keep the faith! We can remain faithful! How? Join us this morning as we examine 2 Timothy 4:6-18 and learn three lessons from the final days of Paul that show us the pattern for keeping the faith when the circumstances and even the people of God disappoint us. Our worship is at 11:00 AM, following our exciting time of study in Sunday School at 9:45 AM. You dont want to miss it! VISITATION!!! Today at 4 PM we will be visiting some of our folks who havent been in Sunday School for awhile. Usually our concentration is on visitors, but today we re checking on some who we havent seen for awhile. It is always good to let people know they are missed and needed by us. If you have never been involved in visitation, this would be a great time to get your feet wet, get out of your comfort zone, and live out loud the Great Commission. See you at 4 oclock PM!!!! CELEBRATION CHOIR!!! DONT FORGET OUR SPECIAL REHEARSAL TONIGHT AT 6 PM. We will be working on various music, but will concentrate on our Easter music, both for Sunrise Service and Easter Service. Please be there for this important time of practice! NEXT SUNDAY, March 23rd, immediately following the morning service, we will have a church-wide baby shower for Trinity and Matt Beasley. (Its a girl!!) Lunch will be provided by our Girlfriends for God group, and we are looking for a great turnout to support this fine family (Rylan, too!). This baby is fourth generation Folly Beach Baptist Church!! For more info, see Virginia Grissom.
