Have you ever felt like, why am I doing all of this? When - TopicsExpress

Have you ever felt like, why am I doing all of this? When Al-Jabbar, Allah, pushes you in a certain direction and you can’t seem to see the finish line? Or you seem to try so hard and the results are not truly clear. When Hajar was running between these two hills, back and forth in search for water for her son, the struggle it took to go back and forth was there, although the final reward was not clear. She kept going, seven times and on the seventh time when she reached the top of the hill, she heard a sound and to her amazement, she saw it at the feet of her son, water. When she was running up and down the hills, she was most likely heart broken, thinking that her son might die in front of her eyes, she must have been in extreme pain. She was being tested and did not see the fruits of this struggle. Today, billions and billions of Muslims follow her footsteps, back and forth, between these mountains. Imagine if she knew what came of the struggle she endured, she would have ran between both of those mountains with a giant smile on here face. Sometimes we are tested, and we do not see the outcome or even the purpose, but we know little and Allah knows everything. We are all going through something, may Allah ease this pain and make it not a trial for us and may Allah soothe any pain we may have and gear us up for the rest of the year! Insha’Allah, Ameen!
