Have you ever found yourself feeling alone, like your life has been a series of failures? I understand how you feel, I have been there myself. Look at a failure as an opportunity to try something different. Sometimes, we allow others or our job, title or position to define who we are. This is not so - the Bible tells us that we are Gods own, chosen by Him:, 1 Peter 1:2 You were chosen by God the Father long ago. He knew you were to become His children. You were set apart for holy living by the Holy Spirit. May you obey Jesus Christ and be made clean by His blood. May you be full of His loving-favor and peace. The Bible also tells us to call on God, and He WILL help us: Psalm 107:28 Then they cried out to the Lord in their trouble. And He took them out of all their problems. I know its hard when you have no one - I am in that position myself. Its then that , when we turn to God, and trust Him, He begins a new work in us, to strengthen and encourage us so that we may in turn encourage others. Sometimes, we need to encourage others to get our minds off of our own problems. It amazes me at how many times when I just give up on whatever Im worrying about, and turn my attention to helping others, God comes rushing to my rescue!! Sometimes, thats just how He works!! He wants us to go to Him, Hes always right there, waiting to help us and give us what we need. Start reading the Psalms and Proverbs. It really will help. Father, I ask You to be with those who feel alone, or feel as if they have failed, Lord, show them how much You love them. Let them know that they are the apple of Your eye and, if You care so much for the sparrows that they dont worry about what to eat or what to wear, how much more do You care for us? Lord, give them peace and cause the right people to cross their paths to minister to them. Surround them with Your love through the Holy Spirit and the saints. I ask You in Jesus name Lord, and thank You. Amen. You are a valuable part of Gods plan and I know He has exciting things in store for you.
